I've been wanting to make the Smile origami pig for a while, so today I've been looking at tutorial sites and youtube for videos. (I was very happy to see that when typing ブタの折り方 into google, the second result is another person asking for the Smile pig. =D) As it turns out, the staff made their own original design. They took a much harder pig origami and simplified it, thus there aren't any tutorials for the exact pig used in Smile. BUT! I found one that looks pretty similar here. There is also a kinda sorta similar one here, with a helpful video.
...I tried both and they turned out hideously deformed! \o/ Not going to give up until I have a pig, dammit. If someone manages it, please show pictures and/or teach me how. ;;;
I'm surprised I've seen no one talk about one of the biggest surprises in Smile yesterday. If you missed it, watch it again. Especially the part right before Kazuma finds the dad. xD
First of all, rest in peace Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. Kind of feel even worse about Farrah, since her death is being completely overshadowed by Michael's. They were both legends.
