Happy Fourth of July!

The Loch Nessatoshi Monster told me to make an entry on Maou, even if it was just keyboard smashing. Okay then.

Seriously, it was amazing. I love Captain. I love Touma. I even loved Nino's minuscule role. Some parts were so creepy I wanted to look away from the screen, but I couldn't, because I didn't want to miss Devil!Oono. The creepiest part is, I own a music box very similar to the one used in the drama. It even plays Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The young girl was also quite creepy. Her eyes are way too big. She's not human, I'm sure of it.

Of course, their acting was superb. Not just from Touma and Oono, but all the cast. I loved seeing Kita-san! I don't want to spoil it, so I can't write anymore, but I really liked the plot so far. I'm sure my neighborhood has exploded with spoilers already anyway. xD

I watched Code Blue as well. It's a good thing I watched it before Maou, because if I hadn't it would have been so boring I would have quit half way through. Does Pi even have a part in this? He only starts getting lines at the very end. Talk about a heartless bastard. I liked all the other characters, though, so I'll give it a second chance. Definitely not as good as Maou. <3

Tomorrow is Sapporo Dome~~~

Since Maou was announced, I had been wondering to myself if our beloved Captain will appear in a gossip magazine soon. You know, because they always time it right before a drama starts, it's starting to get predictable. So I'm not surprised to see the Friday headline at all. The thing is, it might be something they dug up from the past because they were desperate to sell magazines, ala Bubka with Shou, or they might cancel it by the time the magazine comes out, ala Jun and Keiko. I'm kinda thinking it's old, since they were in Sengokupuu (2003, wasn't it?) together. But at least this time we havea good quality picture, and it's so cute. They are the dorkiest looking couple ever, even if they might be broken up by now. 8B I guess we'll just have to wait for Friday.

 Of course, I had to go look her up. She's Yoshino Kimika, born on September 5th, 1975, and is a former gravure idol turned actress. It seems like she mostly acts in horror movies and small parts in dramas? Plus Sengokupuu, of course. Blood type is A, and she was born in Kanagawa. Her hobbies are flower preserving (oooh, artistic!), driving (she could chauffeur Oono), and cooking. She even has a recipe book on her official site. Though the picture with Oono is not flattering at all, she looks quite pretty and classy in photos. Even her older porn-ish photoshoots don't seem as tacky as most idols. Maybe because she has a small chest.

Tomorrow is Maou. I can't believe it. (Ha, you can tell how patriotic I am, I completely forgot tomorrow was the Fourth of July as well. Happy Birthday, America, you scum. Please give my aunt her job back.) The 24TV shirts also go on sale tomorrow, I can't wait to get mine~~~ Plus, Hino-chan has been showing his face on Shukudai-kun lately, and I am a total fangirl for Hino. I hope he bothers them a lot during 24. <3

Arg, I have so much to catch up on. My dog got her stitches out yesterday, so she is 100% back to normal, meaning my life is 100% back to normal. Now I have no excuses to neglect vox, oh noes. My singles arrived very timely on Wednesday morning and I didn't even post about that. I'm a bad fan.

Music Station! Our first look at One Love. I hate suits/tuxedos, especially with bowties. Dx Arashi didn't seem to notice, but there were some random crazies dancing in back of them. I like the choreography, though it's not really dancing, it reminds me of Hadashi no Mirai. I liked the Utaban version slightly more. Oh, Utaban. How dare Aiba rip Jun's porn magazines! Aiba was the one that came up with the "pervert ranking" yet he only put himself at third place? xD What was he doing looking at Jun's porn anyway?

The Hanadan special!  Again with the bowties. Jun had one in Oricon Style too, what is wrong with the stylists these days. The one that's supposed to look like Chip and Dale is Shou, not Jun! Besides that, I loved watching Arashi have a conversation with Doumyouji. I just wish the drama had something actually happening, rather than them just reminincing over the past. Honestly, after reading spoilers (I couldn't help ittt) I was pissed. I really have no desire to see the movie at all anymore, and I'm kinda embarrassed to have been a fan of Hanadan for so many years. But I can't help it, I will love Doumyouji until the day I die. I want to die in his arms, just like Ooshima-san. 8D~~

Yeah, that. I haven't even talked about that yet. Yesterday's Himitsu. Ooshima-san is my hero, seriously. She is the one I choose for Jun to marry! (Yes, I get to choose.) Who cares if she has a husband? *shot* I thought the special would be ruined by having Mao-chan there, but it was actually pretty funny, since she herself was trying to get them together, yet Tsukushi was trying to break them up. xD I love the part where she got to feed him. He said "No!" over and over again, but then "Okay..." in such a quiet voice. T- T- Tsundere explosion. But yeah, the star was definitely Ooshima-san. Has anyone read the news about her new essay book? She talks about being bullied in school (her nickname was "Poop") is what made her decide to become a comedian, she seems really courageous. She totally deserved a date with her idol. <3

Just finished watching the last episode. I haven't talked about it much here, but I like it a lot. Usually I hate depressing dramas, but this one always kept me on my toes and dying to see the next episode. Spoilers~

Not looking forward to Code Blue so much. (Did they really not have helicopter ambulences in Japan before now? More and more I am realizing that Japan isn't the futuristic place of robots and flying cars that we learned about in school.) I like Pi, but I want Himitsu to get higher ratings. D< Speaking of Himitsu, Nino and Aiba were pimpin' today. They should look like that every day. <3 <3 <3

I got my photobook on Tuesday, too! We're in it, but thankfully my face cannot be seen at all~ The faces are blurred out anyway so I guess it didn't matter. It really is more like a magazine than a photobook, but it was cute. The huge picture of the Bellagio almost made me cry with nostalgia. I'll be a mess when I see the movie.

My dog came through surgery fine, but she has an infection that is quite TMI. She's been sleeping a lot (Doctor's orders.) so I can still goof around on the internet like normal most of the time. Guess I spoke too soon.

Happy Birthday, Nino! and an early Happy Birthday to Wendy too on the 19th! I might not be around much this week again, so I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday while I had the chance. I figured you wouldn't mind getting lumped together with Nino. xP Have a great day!

The reason I might not be around is because my puppy is having surgery tomorrow morning. She's been having some mysterious bleeding even though she's spayed, and it turned out the guy that did the job last time did it craptastically and left some of her uterus intact. They're having to go back in the fix it. It's a quick surgery and she'll be home the same day, but I'm going to have to be watching over her at every second to make sure she doesn't lick or rip open her wound. Might not get on the internet much. (Of course, every time I say something like that, I get on the internet more than usual. *shot*)

The 24TV shirts! Despite not being designed by Captain, they're pretty cute, and the artist who did them is quite famous. I want the pink one! <3 <3 This line from the press conference cracked me up - "I was worried that the nipples would be cut out, so I'm relieved that they're not." xDD They know Arashi so well. But enough about the shirts, Nakama Yukie and Matsumoto Jun were in the same room together! Gokusen was mentioned zomggg! Please please please let them do a sequel. And please get back together in real life too, stop fooling around with those young gals, Jun! The mom in me is worried about you!

Despite my crankiness this morning, today must be my lucky day. I was supposed to paint my cousin's house all day again, but we got done early and I got home just as the entertainment news on Zoom In was coming on.

I took too many screencaps for such a short clip. Overcompensating ftw. I just want to say one thing, Arashi has completely lost their marbles, in the most awesome way possible. WHY ARE THEY SPINNING THAT'S WAY TOO HIGH. Forget a thumb, I'm surprised they haven't broken their necks.

Apparently they are the third group EVER to do a concert at the National Stadium? I am so nervous for them, but after seeing this I know they'll put on a good show no matter what. <3

I also saw that GLAY is doing a concert in America? I- I wanna go. But I'll be a good girl and wait for Arashi. 8B Neeaaarr or farrr~

...and I was greeted with news of a new photobook! Yay, I'm so happy! So, this was the big news for today, I'm so relieved!

Then more news came in a few minutes later. I'm going to go back to bed and sleep the day away.

It looks like all the rumors were true. I want to vomit. Gee, thanks for ignoring the rest of the world again (including Thailand! D<), after you built up all this hype for us. Actually, I would be fine with it if it wasn't for that one particular country. Did they lose their morals or something? So, Arashi, if you're going to China, why not just go to North Korea too? I heard it's great there this time of year! Ha. I dunno, right now I'm just kinda miffed and have that, "Well, go if you want, I won't cry at your funeral!" attitude. This will be the last time I mention it, unless something huge happens that makes me rage even more than I am now. I hope they pull a Bjork or something, even just a little gesture like that will make me feel better.

The good news is, I heard they'll be on Shoukura Premium in July~ <3

edit: Obviously I am cranky when I haven't had my breakfast. I'm better now. =D I still feel the same way, but I just want to clarify this has nothing to do with people, I just violently appose their government. It scares me. On the positive side, the only they they have that can up this for their 10th anniversary is a World Tour. It's bound to happen now, I'm sure of it. 8D aaaand my world is all flowers and rainbows again.

I know, I say that about a lot of things, but this time I really mean it! They all seemed a bit scary in full CG to me, but it's cute once you get used to it! From the preview, it looked like Jun was wearing a Dolores Umbridge style pink cardigan, but on further inspection, it's purple, so that makes it all better. He also has the same hairstyle he did in LA! I love Nino's little shorts. I love the rainbow farting birds.  Basically, I love everything. Despite that, I still think I like Wish and Love So Sweet slightly more. I need to watch it agan and again to make sure. xD Ho ho.

edit: Need to get this off of my chest somehow. I hate hate hate cats. There is this zombie cat (we've put poison out for it twice and it's still alive) that lives in our neighborhood for years. Tonight I just found out he snuck into the screened in porch of a neighbor's house, killed their indoor cat, then attacked the daughter. I fucking hate cats. And irresponsible cat owners. Which, from my experience, is most of them. plzdiekthnx.

I am so incredibly distraught. Maybe I'm a bad judge of character, after all. I thought she seemed like a sweet girl. (She's still smart and a great actress, but I guess that has nothing to do with personality.) But is it mean of me to think, "Oh well, maybe Jun can get back with Yukie now that they're doing 24TV together!" I just don't want to see him all alone. ;__;

Sometimes I get a bug up my butt (no pun intended) and think I can do crafts. You might remember my first kindergarten art project (Unlike Arashi, I don't list things as "part2" for no reason.) If you don't remember it, I have a feeling you'll be seeing it soon in the Hanadan photobook that's coming out. How embarrassing. *crawls in a hole and dies* Anyway, I made an Arashipillar out of pom poms and felt! This is just a prototype, I have nine more waiting to be made. Who knows, maybe even more? I will take over the world with an Arashipillar army. I also made Arashikokeshi, but they are kinda sucky, and the craft store didn't have enough bodies. (well, wooden knobs) My apologies, Nino, you'll have a body as soon as they come back in stock!

Last Thursday's Himitsu was the best ever. I know they're just grasping at straws to get the ratings up, but I'm enjoying the ride. I'm glad Ooshima won, but I was wondering the whole time where Asagi Kuniko was. Come on, she's been a huge fan since Kindaichi!
